Millinery education program and exhibition (Live/Virtual session for Greater Minnesota)
Would you like to make a hat and have your hat exhibited as part of a show in a local gallery?
We’re excited to announce our new hat-making program. Throughout this nine-month program, students will learn essential hat making techniques, research and develop design ideas and make a final hat for exhibition in December.
The program starts in March, with six monthly 6-hour sessions followed but one 3-hour presentation session and a final 3-hour session for final adjustments and preparation for the exhibition in December.
Through support of the Minnesota Art Board, the full course fee has been discounted to $630 per person. This fee includes 42 hours of instruction by Karen Morris, class notes and millinery materials. Students are required to have their own sewing kits or some essential hat-making equipments.
